To design a cash sale receipt in Adobe Illustrator, you can start by searching for a suitable template that is highly editable and customizable or you can design it in your preferred design while maintaining and including the key features of a cash sale receipt. 

If you've decided to go through step-by-step process of designing your own custom receipt, I’ll Walk you through it step by step 

or if you had or downloaded a template, you can easily add your business name, logo, and other necessary details. opt for a better application software if needed, indicate the required information, and consider an eco-friendly approach.

Guide on creating a custom cash sale receipt

For this demonstration and practice we’ll be using Adobe Illustrator for designing our receipt

·        Opening a new document

Once you’ve launched Adobe illustrator, it’ll give you a number of

 different document sizes to choose for your work, design.

 And for this case we are going to use A4 size document for our project.



·        Header and address

In this section you’ll write the details of the business starting by:

Name of the business, Dealers in, Contact, Location / Address



·        Serial number and date

The serial number is used for reference since receipts comes in top and carbon and the date is quite obvious, for showing the date with which the document has been issued

·        Clients name and table for writing particulars, quantity, rate and amount

·        E&0.0



 t this stands for error and omission omitted in short it is used to cancel a receipt

·        Terms and condition under which the purchase was made, most of it state goods once sold are not returnable

·       To resize a receipt for printing, you can use various methods depending on the tools available to you. One way is to use Microsoft Word or Google Docs. First, open a new document and click "Insert," then select "Picture from File" to insert your receipt image. Click on the receipt image and drag one of the corners to scale it to your desired size. Another method is to use the printing options provided by your printer software. Look for a "Scale" feature in the print dialog window, which allows you to adjust the size of the image on the page before printing.
